Frequently Asked Questions
There will be several press sections along the route. Arrangements will also be made so journalists can move between the different press sections. The locations of the various different press sections will be announced on March 30. That's also when the accreditation process will be launched on this website: koningsdaginrotterdam.nl.
The Central Library on Binnenrotte will be set up as a press center on 27 April. The press center is open on King's Day from 08:00 to 18:00. More information about collecting accreditations at this location and transport to the press sections from this location will follow no later than Friday, April 21, after the allocation of the press accreditations.
Registration for press accreditations opens on March 30 and closes on April 7, 17:00. The link to the registration form will be visible on this press page from 30 March.
A sufficient number of press areas will be set up at several places along the route.
It will also be possible to subscribe to press arrangements, which will allow for guided movement between several press sections. However, this won’t always be possible between all sections. We would therefore recommend accrediting several reporters or camera crews across multiple sections.

The accreditation assessment/allocation will be done by the host city/Municipality of Rotterdam in collaboration with the Netherlands Government Information Service.
