Entrepeneurs

Introduction

All residents and business owners along and around the Royal route receive a letter on 20th February. You can find a copy of this letter here. A second letter with more detailed information will follow at the end of March. This information will subsequently also be available within this section of the website.

Activities on April 19 and 20

Work will take place in the Afrikaanderwijk on Wednesday 19 and Thursday 20 April to prepare the neighborhood for King's Day and the visit of the Royal Family. Materials will be placed and deposited here and there in the neighborhood, which will later be brought to the final location. You may experience some inconvenience from this. It may also mean that we have to temporarily close off parking spaces. Pay particular attention to yellow-black signs with directions. The work will last until 6 a.m. on April 20, unfortunately this means a temporary parking ban for the Pretorialaan and Paul Krugerstraat. You can then park in these streets again until April 26 at 8:00 am. The final traffic measures will take effect on April 26. You can read more about this below.

City dressing for entrepreneurs along the route

All entrepreneurs located along the route of the Royal walk will have the opportunity to participate in the City dressing. For this purpose, studio VollaersZwart has designed sticker strips with which you can easily decorate your shop window or shop window yourself. Entrepreneurs concerned will receive a message about this before 10 April. Do you want to see if this also applies to you? Then check the route. The City dressing packages consist of 2 sticker strips and the King's Day logo as a window sticker. This is how we create solidarity in our Rotterdam streetscape in the run-up to and during King's Day.

Oranje Voor Goed

There is a toolkit available - containing the King's Day logo - for everyone who wants to get started for King's Day. Read here more about the use of the logo.
